The Art of Living Fun: Inside the Vision

Connection in the Age of Convenience

Every weekend, thousands of families across Texas hit the road in search of an escape, a place to unwind, reconnect, and have fun. Too often, they find crowded destinations, impersonal service, and surface-level experiences that prioritize convenience over connection. Born from a desire to reimagine what hospitality can be and bridge the glaring gaps in service that exist across the region, Oakfire Ridge offers an elevated alternative to the typical weekend getaway.

By combining best-in-class sport and wellness design with the heart of Texas hospitality, we aim to set a new national standard for experience-driven destinations. Every element, from club programming to member events, is designed with intention, creating immersive, story-driven environments that inspire timeless fun and genuine human connection.

As an all-inclusive private club, Oakfire will become a sanctuary where individuals, couples, and families alike can spend the entire day without ever needing to leave. Whether you seek time to yourself or shared moments together, everything you need is right here.

A New Kind of Retreat

Ideally located within a 50-acre retreat just 20 minutes outside of San Antonio, The Oakfire Club will be a community built on belonging and guided by an ethos of “Hospitality for All.” Whether you’re a member, guest, or staff, this philosophy represents our shared commitment to creating an inclusive environment where hospitality is not just something you experience, but something you actively participate in.

Where Play Has Purpose

The Oakfire Club Sports Complex will house 10 indoor pickleball courts and 2 padel courts, each designed in partnership with pro pickleball player Thomas Wilson, who, along with his wife Brittany, is developing a one-of-a-kind Pickleball Academy for players of all levels.

Beyond the courts, members can enjoy a retreat built for every kind of enthusiast:

  • A resort-style Biergarten patio and pool complex with slides, a swim-up bar, lap lanes, cabanas, an adults-only zone, and a hot tub

  • A multi-story steakhouse serving locally sourced dishes, with private dining and chef’s table events

  • An executive golf course and Four Full Swing golf simulators that double as movie lounges and mini-game hubs

  • 1.5 miles of scenic trails and open green space

  • A full-service spa with wellness pods and a self-guided tranquility garden

  • Indoor and outdoor gyms and studio space

  • Private on-site lodging with complimentary item storage and transport

  • The Kids Club, offering a dedicated space and convenient childcare for members

Building Momentum

Though construction is slated to begin in 2026, with a grand opening projected for fall 2028, Oakfire Ridge is already generating considerable buzz.

Founder Sean Tipton, a Texas entrepreneur known for building Airrosti into a $125 million company, sees Oakfire as the culmination of decades of work connecting health, community, and lifestyle. “It’s not about amenities,” Tipton says. “It’s about creating a culture of belonging, a place where you come to effortlessly Live Fun.”

Looking ahead, the Oakfire team envisions a model that is both rooted and replicable, one that can scale to other cities while staying true to its Hill Country soul. Through partnerships with global leaders like Troon and Cliff Drysdale, and the creation of proprietary training and hospitality frameworks, Oakfire Ridge aims to serve not just as a destination, but as a blueprint for belonging.

An Invitation to Belong

For now, Oakfire Ridge remains a vision in motion, a 50-acre promise of firelight, laughter, and open Texas sky. But already, it’s attracting a circle of believers: members, partners, and investors who see more than a club.

The membership waitlist continues to grow, and early partnerships have solidified its credibility in both hospitality and sport. From its first spark of inspiration to the moment the gates open, this is a story about reclaiming the joy of togetherness.
