BULVERDE, TX — Oakfire Club, a sprawling 49-acre sanctuary situated just north of San Antonio, is poised to redefine the Hill Country’s lifestyle and hospitality landscape with the announcement of its forthcoming private, members-only destination. The club is projected to soft launch with an initial Charter Member offering in February 2026.
Developed around the guiding ethos of “Shared Hospitality,” Oakfire emphasizes a culture in which hospitality is not a service you receive, but an experience you participate in. Led by Founder and Principal Developer Sean Tipton—recognized for building Airrosti into a $125 million national healthcare organization—the project redefines private club hospitality through a community-centered model. Supported by Troon’s operational leadership, Oakfire introduces an elevated environment absent from the current private club landscape.
Oakfire Prime, the club’s two-story flagship steakhouse, is set to become the area's premier fine-dining destination. While the main floor will welcome the public, members will enjoy exclusive access to a private second level designed for chef-driven ticketed dinners and intimate gatherings.
Additionally, Oakfire Club is positioned to become a leading hub for racquet sport enthusiasts. Featuring ten climate-controlled indoor pickleball courts and two indoor padel courts, meticulously designed for both recreational players and serious competitors. The club will also serve as home to the Thomas Wilson Pickleball Academy, led by acclaimed professional player Thomas Wilson.
Further elevating the active-living experience, Oakfire Club will introduce two professionally designed executive golf courses and short-game practice areas in partnership with True Club Solutions, a division of Troon, the world's largest operator of private clubs. In addition to traditional play, members will enjoy access to four Full Swing Pro 2.0 simulators outfitted with cinema-quality projection technology and high-speed cameras for an immersive, tour-caliber indoor golf experience.
A full suite of wellness amenities complements the club’s activity-focused programming. The Club Spa will serve as a dedicated oasis, offering a private hydrotherapy pool, sauna, and steam experiences, as well as sound and contrast therapy, mineral soaks, red-light therapy, and a range of signature restorative treatments.
Families will find a dedicated home within the property’s Kids Club, a professionally staffed space offering supervised play, and daily complimentary childcare for members. Additionally, the grand pool complex will include waterslides, shallow play zones, a swim-up bar, and a dedicated adult-only pool, creating a resort-style environment designed for all ages.
Behind the development is a team of nationally recognized partners whose collective expertise anchors the project in best-in-class execution. Troon and Cliff Drysdale Tennis will oversee club and racquet operations, while Crane Hospitality Group has informed the financial modeling of Oakfire Prime based on their leading San Antonio concepts.
